This Privacy Policy explains how LetsChat AI LLC (“LetsChat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the LetsChat mobile app and related services.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
The LetsChat app may store information locally on your device so the app can remember your settings and provide a more personalized experience. This may include:
- Chat history stored on the device;
- Selected persona or conversation settings;
- Preferred name, interests, and conversation style if you choose to enter them;
- Voice, caption, display, and call-mode settings;
- Local plan/access status; and
- A local device identifier used for facility-code activation.
Local information is stored on your device unless it is specifically sent to our activation server as described below.
2. Information Sent to LetsChat Servers
When you enter a facility access code, the app may contact LetsChat’s activation server to verify the code. This request may include:
- The facility access code you entered;
- A device identifier generated by the app;
- Activation status information, such as whether a code is active, expired, disabled, or at its activation limit; and
- Basic server logs needed for security, debugging, and reliability.
We use this information to verify access, prevent misuse of access codes, maintain activation counts, and support the service.
3. Chat Content and On-Device Model
LetsChat is designed so chatbot replies are generated locally on the user’s device using a bundled language model. We do not intentionally send ordinary chat messages to our activation server for reply generation.
However, if you contact support and choose to share screenshots, logs, or message examples, we may receive and review the information you choose to provide.
4. Microphone and Speech Recognition
Call Mode uses microphone access so you can speak to the app. The app also uses speech recognition to convert your speech into text.
Speech recognition may be handled by Apple technologies on your device and, depending on device settings, language, and operating system behavior, may involve Apple services. You can control microphone and speech recognition permissions in iOS Settings.
5. App Store Purchases
If you purchase a Pro or Premium subscription through the Apple App Store, Apple handles the payment processing. We may receive subscription entitlement information from Apple through StoreKit so the app can unlock the correct plan. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.
6. Support Communications
If you email us for support, we may collect your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond to your request and improve the app.
7. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and maintain the app, verify facility access codes, enable Pro and Premium access, respond to support requests, improve app reliability and safety, and protect against misuse or unauthorized access.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell user data. We may share information only when needed to operate the app, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or use service providers that help us run the service.
9. Resetting or Deleting Local Data
You can delete the app from your device to remove local app data from that device. We also plan to provide an in-app local data reset option. If you need help with data or access-code records, contact us at LetsChatAILLC@gmail.com.
10. Children
LetsChat is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can review and respond appropriately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when this page was last changed.
